Sikisa and Morgan Rees are in the house to kick off your Saturday night in style!
- Sikisa has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Comedy Central Live, and Sorry I Didn’t Know, amongst others. She’s been a guest on hit podcasts like Off Menu, Some Laugh, and Please Tell Me a Story; she also hosts the WrestleClub podcast.
- Reviewers have said Sikisa ‘has a real way with words’ (LMAOnaise Comedy), and is ‘raucous and vivid’ (The List). A former immigration lawyer, burlesque performer and emo kid, she’s seriously talented.
- Morgan Rees has been tour support for Lucy Beaumont, Nigel Ng, Rhys James and Bristol’s queen Jayde Adams. He’s Welshman who used to live in Bristol and is a much-missed part of our city’s comedy scene. Morgan co-hosts the Chatting with Cherubs podcast with fellow comedians Josh Jones and Gearoid Farralley.
- Morgan has also written for Mock the Week, Uncle Roger and 8 Out of 10 Cats. Reviewers loved his ‘instant energy and warmth’ (Broadway Baby) and ‘solid stand-up’ (Chortle, which added that he was ‘pretty hench’!).
- Burt Williamson is our MC for the night. If you’ve seen him MC at The Gaffe before, or at our recent Comedy & Wine night, you know you’re in safe (but very funny) hands. Burt has previously had glowing reviews from the likes of The Scotsman for his comedy.
