We're Bristol's dedicated live comedy venue, hosting comedians from across the UK scene, as well as local names on the South West circuit. Find us inside Dareshack, on Wine Street, right in the city centre - we can't wait to meet you.
Since opening in January 2025, we've welcomed big-name acts like Jamali Maddix, Jayde Adams, Jess Fostekew, Rosie Jones, Tom Rosenthal, Eva Bindeman, Mark Watson, Jamie D'Souza, Sam See, Tamsyn Kelly, Alexandra Haddow, Sharon Wanjohi, Abi Clarke, Tom Glover, and Rob Copland.
Our resident MCs (hosts) include Harriet Dyer, Greg Winfield, Burt Williamson, and Harry Allmark.

- Events at The Gaffe are suitable for comedy fans aged 18+.
- The on-site bar at Dareshack serves a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks. You're welcome to relax in the bar area before the show and during any breaks (some shorter shows, such as work in progress previews lasting roughly 1 hour, may not have a break).
- Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with a disabled toilet available.
- All toilets on-site are unisex.
