**Have you noticed your balance isn't quite what it used to be? **
Perhaps you feel a little less steady standing on one leg. Maybe you're more cautious on uneven ground, stepping off a kerb, or walking downhill. Or perhaps your feet and ankles simply feel stiffer and less strong than they used to.
We often think of balance as something that naturally gets worse as we get older. But your feet play a surprisingly important role. They are constantly sensing the ground beneath you and helping your brain make the tiny adjustments needed to keep you stable, coordinated and confident when you move.
Our Barefoot Workshop is designed to help you understand this connection and show you simple ways to improve:
- Foot and ankle strength
- Balance and stability
- Mobility and movement
- Your awareness of the ground beneath you
- Confidence when walking and exercising You'll also learn practical exercises and habits that you can continue at home.
Barefoot Workshop Tuesday 15th September 3.00pm £25
This is a practical, small-group workshop and is suitable for anyone who is able to walk independently and unaided.
If you've noticed your balance changing, your feet becoming stiffer, or you simply want to keep yourself moving well as you get older, we'd love you to join us.
