In Equus, Peter Shaffer brings together two powerhouse roles, psychiatrist Martin Dysart and his teenage patient Alan Strang. These two unforgettable characters have been routinely portrayed by some of the finest actors of their generations, including Anthony Hopkins, Leonard Nimoy, Richard Griffiths, Tom Hulce and Daniel Radcliffe. The Golden Globe winning movie adaptation starred Richard Burton as Dysart with Peter Firth and Jenny Agutter, all earning Academy Award nominations for their stellar performances.
