Following Thatchers’ annual wassail at Myrtle Farm, The Railway Inn keeps the celebrations going with a lively public Wassail on Wednesday 14 January. Starting at 6:30pm, the evening blends tradition, good food and plenty of cheer. Tickets include a hearty two-course meal, mulled cider to warm the spirits, and dancing and revelry led by local Morris dancers. It’s a chance to join in an age-old Somerset ritual, toast the trees, and enjoy a cosy winter gathering with the community.
