The Egg Theatre is a jewel in the crown of national children’s theatre.
We produce and present exceptional theatrical experiences that entertain, educate and inspire children. We support and nurture young people as they explore a career in the arts, offer new and emerging young artists a platform for their inspirations to take flight, and strive to redress the cultural, economic and political imbalance that exists around making the arts accessible for school-aged children. But at the very core of what we do, we aim to promote the lifelong benefit of introducing children to live theatre at an early age; to put it simply, we aim to promote joy.
