The American Museum summer evenings lean smooth this year, with live jazz from the Iain Ballamy Trio drifting across the gardens. Think sunset over the Limpley Stoke valley, a cold drink in hand, and enough room to stretch out without stepping on someone’s hummus.

Take your pick between terrace seats close to the band or a blanket on the lawn. The American Garden Deli’s got the snacks sorted, and the music’s a mix of original compositions, Brazilian gems, and a few classics from the American songbook. Not your average picnic.

The Iain Ballamy Trio
Iain Ballamy – tenor saxophone
Huw Warren – piano
Nick Pini – bass

This stunning trio comprises world-renowned saxophonist and composer Iain Ballamy, the superb pianist Huw Warren and stellar bassist Nick Pini. They will perform original music as well as pieces by the legendary Brazilian composers Hermeto Pascoal and Tom Jobim, plus some classic standards from the great American songbook. This promises to be an unforgettable evening concert!
