Our mate Joe Trudgeon (Trad Jazz Troubadours, Gin Bowlers, Jug-Busters, etc.) is a very sociable chap and travels a lot for music: the pay-off is that he has any number of high-quality musicians in a range of styles visiting on their way to or from some festival, and of course when in town they want to play, eh? BB plays all the American Roots styles – blues, swing, US Folk – with the ultimate entertainment sensibility of a street musician, and of course he knows the culture from the inside, not just from the movies.
