Arvon, the much-loved creative writing charity known for nurturing generations of writers, comes to Bath for a special masterclass with award-winning writer, Tessa Hadley. She’ll be focusing on how writers can describe interior spaces— those rooms where so much of life unfolds, from the everyday to the wildly dramatic.
In a short story, novel or a memoir – these places aren’t simply background, they’re essential to the story and part of its character. We’ll explore some examples from brilliant published writers, and then experiment with creating our own places.
A great opportunity to learn this key skill with the author of eight acclaimed novels and three collections of short stories.
All welcome, no previous experience necessary. Please bring your own notebook and pen.
