Lacock Abbey is a country house with monastic roots. Cared for by the National Trust, it was once home to Henry Fox Talbot, inventor of the photographic negative. The Fox Talbot Museum is dedicated to the history of photography, with contemporary exhibitions and photography themed workshops throughout the year.
