Front Room proudly welcomes acclaimed Ukrainian performer Volodymyr Smotrytsky to Weston for a powerful solo performance of Mazepa.

At the heart of the play is Ivan Mazepa, a historical figure who, in his old age, finds himself excommunicated and cast out from his homeland under the weight of anathema. Isolated and in exile, he is forced to confront his past defeats, reliving the defining moments of his life through his own memories.
