The Chapels of Rest in Stroud Cemetery, located on Bisley Road, are a pair of historic Victorian buildings dating back to 1854, designed in decorated Gothic style by local architects Baker and Son.

After years of discussion and negotiation, the Stroud Preservation Trust (SPT) has secured a seven-year lease on the Chapels of Rest from Stroud District Council. The goal is to transform the Chapels into a vibrant community space for events, art, and performances.
