Bristol New Music traverses the outer realms of music: from Erwan Keravec’s Highland bagpipe drone and KMRU’s field-recording tapestries to Cara Tolmie and Rian Treanor’s bracing link-up, Bill Orcutt’s powerhouse guitar trio and Ghost Dubs’ chest-rattling low end. Add in an audio-visual installation from Olukemi Lijadu and sub-bass rituals from emptyset, and you’ve got a heady, cerebral dive into contemporary music and visual arts.
