Internationally renowned cellist and composer Raphael Weinroth-Browne is redefining the cello with his signature blend of metal and Middle Eastern music influences. Raphael augments his cello through amplification, effects, and live looping to build immersive sound worlds in real time. His epic compositions combine cinematic scope and unbridled virtuosity and his live shows are a spellbinding and emotionally resonant experience.
He has toured extensively with numerous projects from contemporary dance with “Bach Reimagined” to Norwegian progressive rock band Leprous and from the Royal Albert Hall to Hellfest.
His latest album Lifeblood is where his influences meet and collide with epic force.
