In a bleak break room of a craft store in Boise, Idaho someone is summoning the Rapture.
Will Cronin is determined to make a fresh start for himself after being implicated in a scandalous tragedy at his church in Rathdrum. His new employer, the Hobby Lobby, could provide the stability he is lacking; but the grandiosity of his troubled beliefs and his hunger to connect threatens to throw the hobby lobby eco system into chaos.
This play explores themes of family, faith and fundamentalism.

About Misplaced Theatre Our company came into being when the four-founding members, Ciaran, Amy, Jo and Norberto met at a Bristol Old Vic Shakespeare Summer School – we bonded over our desire to get back on stage and find opportunities not only for ourselves but also for other actors and creatives who had been misplaced during their careers. Running for 4 years now, we have produced an eclectic mix of theatre including immersive Shakespeare, John Patrick Shanley’s Doubt: A Parable, Philip Ridley’s Tender Napalm and performing new writing by Marley Starkey-Joyner and Madison Cole. We enjoy bringing powerful pieces of writing to the stage with a team of talented and enthusiastic creatives.
