Karanga – the South West’s biggest club night returns for one last event to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

Karanga was founded by Ross Wilson and Tim Lucy in Spring 1994, with an aim to bring global House DJs to the city for the first time.

Launching at the Bath Pavilion, Karanga transformed the sleepy old council-run building (at the time mainly used for antique fairs and kids roller discos) into a sweaty rave for 1,000 clubbers.

Karanga went on to become one of England’s largest club nights throughout the ’90s-’00s, attracting a nationwide following and regularly named one of the Top Ten nights in the UK by both ‘Mixmag’ magazine and Pete Tong’s ‘Essential Selection’ on BBC Radio One.

Despite hosting events and club nights across the whole West Country including Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Swindon and their legendary all-nighters at the disused Tropicana swimming pool in Weston-Super-Mare, they always saw Bath as their hometown and will always be remembered for those infamous parties at the Pavilion.

DJs: Seb Fontaine, Brandon Block, Ben Hudson, Andy Fisher, Ross Wilson, Nick Wilkins
