Clay Shed is turning 5 this year and to celebrate, we are hosting an Open Day on Saturday 8th June.
This family friendly celebratory event will be just that - a birthday bash fit for a studio now the grand old age of 5. Expect traditional party games (pass the parcel, pin the tear on Keith Brymer - Jones’ face and egg and spoon races throughout the day) and we hope you can raise a toast to another 5 years with a glass of something and a slice of birthday cake.
Our open day will give the public rare access to our working ceramic studio, opportunity to see work in progress, chat with our studio members and purchase one off pieces of work. We’ll also be running free throwing taster sessions throughout the day.
Clay Shed is a co-working ceramic studio based in Lawrence Hill, Bristol. Clay Shed was founded in 2019 and is run by professional artists Louise Blois, Steven Gattrell Sales and Alice Shields. We provide pottery classes, studio membership, group party events, professional mentoring and guest speaker talks. Our community of studio members include artists, potters and sculptors.
