We invite you to join us at Avebury henge and stone circle, at this beautiful time of the year halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.
To come together as community, to embrace the shifting energies as we begin to transition from the depths of winter towards the warmth, rebirth and renewal of spring. To grow and explore our soul connections to the magic of the natural world whilst honouring the sacred energies of Imbolc. We will undertake a mindful pilgrimage out from Avebury to the West Kennet long barrow and streams and back through the west avenue and into Avebury stone circle, balancing the deeply reflective and inward energy of winter with physical movement. Stepping forwards and preparing ourselves for the stirrings of life in the natural world, rejuvenation not only of the earth but our own spirits and bodies. There will be opportunities for us to pause and reflect, to reconnect with ourselves and the land, to honour and hold gentle ritual, to cleanse our souls and our spirits, to rejoice, to set intentions and plant seeds for what is to come. We will spend time holding sacred space together, and individually & there will be an opportunity to dip or immerse in sacred spring waters.
