In this remarkable new exhibition presented by Messums Org, Peter Brown turns his attention to Bristol, setting up his easel across the city’s diverse streets to document its energy and charm. Braving all conditions, he has spent days painting in bustling squares with well-known landmarks, along the harborside, and in quiet residential corners, meeting and engaging with locals as he works. Through his vivid and immersive depictions, Peter captures the energy of the streets of Bristol, offering viewers a fresh and personal perspective on a city rich in history, movement, and light.
