Honouring the longest day with song and fire.
Solstice at Wasing is a carefully curated ceremony; a celebration to mark our gratitude for the Sun – the giver of all life and energy. Gathering around the fire, we honour the earth and her elements through music, movement, song and prayer. The night culminates in a torchlit procession to Solstice Hill to welcome in the Sun to his longest day.
The solstice is a turning point, a reminder of the cyclical nature of life. As one, we embrace this time to connect deeply with ourselves, each other and the land.
