EMBODIED MEDITATION

In the busyness of life, it’s easy to get a little distanced from yourself. Forward-focused productivity is so normal that slowing down can feel unfamiliar, impossible (or even indulgent). If you are busy to frazzled and would like to make some space to pause and unwind, this workshop is for you.

Embodied meditation is a mindfulness practice that focuses on the connected aliveness of awareness in and of the body. It’s not about emptying your mind or sitting perfectly still, but about coming home to yourself through sensation and presence. The session will draw on the seasons and the surrounding environment at Vallis Farm.

This two-hour session offers simple, practical techniques to help you land back in your body and feel more grounded and present.

You’ll be guided through meditation practices that support body awareness and nervous system regulation. The aim isn’t to 'get it right', but to find a way that works for you.

What to Expect: Embodied Meditation: body-focused meditation techniques to help you to inhabit your self more fully.

Nature Connection: Whether we are indoors or out, the direction of the session will be influenced by weather on the day, and the beautiful surroundings at Vallis Farm.

Techniques are gently guided, practical and simple with options offered.

Led by Emilie, an embodiment coach and facilitator with 20 years experience.
