The White Horse Inn, Compton Bassett, is excited to share it will be hosting its second charity dog walk in July in aid of W.A.G.s, which supports owners of retired police dogs across Wiltshire, Avon and Somerset and Gloucestershire police forces.
It pawfectly brings together local dog walkers for a fun, social outing within one of Wiltshire’s areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) for a morning of fresh air, exercise, and local knowledge on the local area.
The walking group will meet at 9.30am at The White Horse Inn to kick-start the outing with homemade bacon baps and a hot drink for a suggested donation of £5, or more, per walker with the proceeds going to the retired police dog charity, W.A.G.s. The dog walk will leave the pub at 10am for a four-mile excursion around the stunning countryside surrounding Compton Bassett, back in time for 12pm should walkers like to stay for a spot of lunch – dogs welcome too, of course!
Members of the WAGS team will also be joining the dog walk.
