Gareth Gwynn & Stuart Goldsmith: Edinburgh Preview | The Jesters
Two Edinburgh hours in one night, tested out in the basement before they head north in August. Gareth Gwynn brings Cyril, a show built around his great-grandfather, the Bard of Gower, a farmer and local poet Gwynn never met, pieced together from a book of poems and a quest to find anything the two of them have in common. Stuart Goldsmith brings Canary, an hour on the climate crisis that he reckons is his most hopeful yet, from a comic who did the reading and came away properly terrified. Both hours are brand new, both are being run in front of a fifty-seat crowd close enough to tell them exactly what is working, and you get the pair for less than one of them costs up at the Fringe.
