James O'Donoghue Is Normal: Edinburgh Preview | The Jesters
A brand new Edinburgh hour, run in the basement before it heads north in August. James O'Donoghue Is Normal takes in WWII Soviet tank warfare, eight-year-old street hecklers and a long-running vendetta against Mickey Mouse, all of it about failing spectacularly to be a normal human being while wearing a sequinned ballgown and six-inch heels. Defiantly odd and very funny, it gets run in front of a fifty-seat crowd close enough to tell James exactly what is working, for a good deal less than the same hour costs up at the Fringe.
