The team at Artspace Lifespace invite you through the heavy wooden doors of The Island to experience this 1920's police headquarters turned arts centre. Peek inside artists' studios, see their work exhibited, join an artist workshops and take part in a free dance or circus class.

Originally taken on by Artspace Lifespace in 2007 with a three month licence to occupy, The Island has since become a stalwart of alternative creativity in the heart of Bristol supporting hundreds of artists, performers and musicians in the 40+ studios, circus training space, dance studio, sewing studio and nightclub.
