The Bath Fringe, a going concern since 1981, continues to take on the regional big guns with a free-ranging programme of culture and art from the margins. Its 100-plus events include music from psychedelic polymath Kavus Torabi, Irish folk singer-songwriter Fionn Regan and Afro-Brazilian eight-piece Soma Soma; experimental theatre from Dramatic Moose and the Natural Theatre Company; and comedy from Ed Byrne and Nigel Planer.
The Bath Fringe is a festival of all the arts, with few rules as to what should be in or out – it’s what people want to do, and what venues in Bath want to put on. It all happens for 2 long weeks & 3 weekends (17 days or thereabouts) in early summer, in the beautiful city of Bath.
