A full day of archery takes over the South Lawn at The Bishop’s Palace this summer.
Wells City Archers will be demonstrating their skills using a variety of traditional bows, taking part in a friendly tournament to see who can score the most points. The competition is called the Maria Eden Shoot, named after the daughter of a former Bishop who had a passion for longbow archery.
You’ll also get the chance to ‘have a go’ at archery as part of the day’s activities.
A great day out for all ages, with plenty to see and try throughout the day. This event is included with standard admission to The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens.
