At Somer Valley Farms, we believe that food tastes better if you know exactly where it comes from. We’ve been farming in the West Country for generations. We respect the land, livestock and tradition, using science and age-old, time-tested methods to find a better way forward.

The food in our farm shop is as local as can be, sourced from our farm and a selection of trusted farms in the valley.

With home-grown malted barley and water from our own borehole, virtually everything in Somer Valley beers started life on Knoll Farm in Somer Valley. Meaning minimum beer miles and maximum provenance. It tastes wonderful too.

We don’t just talk the talk. We walk the walk in our efforts to farm for the better. We put the welfare of our animals first. We value good husbandry. We respect our land, the countryside and the environment.
