Join Us for Monthly Traditional Irish Music Sessions at Bristol Folk House!

Come along to our brand-new monthly Traditional Irish Music Sessions led by experienced musician and Folk House tutor, Aidan Sheehan. Whether you're a player or a listener, you'll be assured of a warm welcome. Enjoy a beer, soak up the music, and experience the craic in our friendly café bar.

Doors: 6pm

Session: 7:00pm – 9:30pm

Tickets: £5.50 with the option to pay more - we have started charging for this event to pay the musicians a fairer wage

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE HOUSE BAND!

Free entry for jamming musicians.

Musicians: bring your instruments and join in! Expect an evening of jigs, reels, polkas, airs, and a few traditional Irish folk songs. Instruments typically featured at sessions include fiddle, accordion, melodeon, Irish whistle, mandolin, Irish-style bouzouki, mandola, tenor banjo, acoustic guitar, flute, harmonica, concertina—even spoons!

Whether you're seasoned or just getting started, this is your space, come and make it special!
