The final concert in the epic series Bach@Bath 275 – a project by Huw Williams, the Abbey's Director of Music, to play the complete organ works of J S Bach during 2025. This has been to celebrate the life of J S Bach on the 275the anniversary of his death.

Highlights of the programme include the dazzling Toccata, Adagio and Fugue in C – written specifically to ‘show off’ the organ in all its capacity to thrill and which opens the concert this evening. The Trio Sonata in Eb (No 1), the joyful Concerto in G after Prince Ernst (one of Bach's employers) and the monumental Prelude and Fugue in E minor (nicknamed 'The Wedge') brings this fabulous series to a resounding end.
