"A beautiful print magazine which dives deeper into the people and scenes shaping the region - always a fantastic read and a go-to for finding out what’s on.”

With thousands of events on our listings website, 10,000 copies of our print magazine distributed across the Bath and Bristol area every two months, and Field Notes, our weekly email newsletter curating the best of what's on over the week ahead... nearfield is the first choice to connect with a culturally curious audience in the southwest.

AUDIENCE: CULTURALLY CURIOUS

The nearfield audience is mid-life (70% aged 25-54) with many recently relocated to the southwest.

In our 2024 reader survey, 77% readers told us they go out to enjoy culture and the arts once a month or more, and 35% eat out once a week or more.  Just under half (46%) have lived at their current address for five years or less, with London postcodes being the most common previous address.

The average time spent reading a copy of nearfield magazine is 23 minutes (source: nearfield readership survey, 401 responses, Customer IQ October 2024).

DISTRIBUTION: WE'VE GOT THE SOUTHWEST COVERED

nearfield magazine has free distribution of 10,000 copies every two months, across a 25-mile radius (an hour's drive) from Bath and Bristol, via 500+ stockists including coffee shops, hotels, bars, workspaces, independent stores and festivals.

nearfield magazine is also available on paid subscription.

ADVERTORIALS AND PROMOTED CONTENT

nearfield is 100% editorially independent, and will never give editorial coverage in return for advertising support.

We recognise the commercial value of creating promotional content and placing this within our native environment.  When we do this it will always be clearly labelled “promoted content” or “advertising feature”.

Establishing and maintaining reader trust in our content is one of our top priorities, and we will always strive to ensure that all content (whether editorial or promotional) is interesting, relevant and useful, and featuring brands and businesses that we know and respect.
